Hi Genie,

We finally made it home, had a couple stops along the way...and little "Freedom" lost her name somewhere between I 465 and Richmond, Indiana...LOL

Maddie kept thinking up different names and one of them was "Teddy Bear" since her Moma was Panda...then we talked about the name of her brother and sisters...and Maddie and Jerry both said they liked the 4th of July theme and so I think they (and me to) settled on naming her Liberty and Libby for short.

She has settled right in and all the critters here have come to sniff bottoms with her and approve.

She sure is playful!!! Right away she wanted to play socks with Maddie, then when Maddie left for home she seemed sleepy so I put her in her excircise pen with her supper and some water...so far she still hasn't settled down and wants more plat time...

I played her video, its was AWESOME!!!!

You are so thoughtful to do that!!

I feel like a kid in a candy store...LOL...with my first puppy..

Sept. 10

Hi,

Thought I would drop in and give you an update on little "Libby"..she is doing AMAZING!! She sleeps in her exercise pen during the day with her pillow and a fleecy rag doll that we got her (dog toy) and goes on the pads I put down for her...

Her favoyite thing is playing with the cats, esp. the kitten I brought in from the barn who only has one eye and I am fairly sure cannot see well out of it, only shadows it seems. he will sleep outside her Xpen and I find her reaching for him and he reaching in to play with her..its so cute to see that. The other BIG cat I have is a Siamese mix and he weighs about 20#, spends most of his time lying upside down in the kitchen (in case someone opens the cat food bin) and sleeping. Well, with Libby running around now, she hops on him and he takes off...doesn't know how to handle a dog that little..LOL

Mia, the rescue Papillon is still not ready to make up to Libby so Libby is smart enough to stick to playing with the cats for now.

We are heaving a ball with this little bundle of Love.. and thank you again for breeding such a well adjusted and happy little girl!!!

I have to add I never saw a puppy that twirls like she does..she get so excited when you play with her that she just twirls...LOL..easy to teach her to dance that way...

Will try to get some pictures downloaded so you can watch her grow as well...
